CLUBS

There are organized groups and societies engaged in cultural and academic activities such as :

Science Club
Music Club
Maths Club
Environment Club
Literary Club

To develop among the students a concern for nature care we have Eco Clubs. To preserve our cultural heritage we have a Heritage Club.

HOUSE SYSTEM :

To develop the team spirit and to have healthy competition the school students are divided into four houses viz

(1) Ashok

(2) Shivaji

(3) Subhash

(4) Tilak.

The house activities are organized and managed by team of teachers and a team of prefects under the guidance and leadership of coordinators for co-curricular activities. Two periods in a week are allotted for various house activities and to have inter-house competitions. A healthy spirit of competition is created among the houses. Group/individual prizes are awarded on merit.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION :

The school has facilities for the following indoor and out-door games:

Football
Kho-kho
kabaddi

COMPUTER SCIENCE

The school provides the facility of general computer education to students of classes I to XII. We have sufficient PCs with multimedia environment, C.D. writers and Inkjet printer. Internet facility has also been provided.

EDUCATIONAIDS:

To help and boost up the academic interest of our students the school has Slide- Projector, Overhead Projector & LCD Projector These are used for instructional purposes. Besides, all the rooms in the school have been linked with a Public Address System.

SCIENCE LABORATORIES :

The school has well equipped Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology laboratories. The Laboratories are equipped with Scientific apparatus, Chemicals and other required items.

LIBRARY

The school maintains a well-furnished Library and a Reading Room. The library has a large number of books, magazines, periodicals and is well equipped with

SCOUTS AND GUIDES:

To promote self discipline in the students, Scouts and Guides training is being imparted. Camps are also organized.

COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS:

We arrange Parent's-Teacher Summative Assessment Meeting after each terminal examination to discuss the progress of the students with their parents and get parents feedback. We also keep parents informed about school activities through Parents Contact sent to them by The Principal periodically.
